IHI (Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries) is a large turbocharger and supercharger manufacturer headquartered in Japan with a long-standing regional presence in the USA. IHI equipment can be found from the international space station to the turbochargers on many Subaru, Ford, Fiat, General Motors, Chrysler, Isuzu, and Mercury Marine engines among several others. IHI has manufactured over 2 million turbochargers in their Shelbyville, IL facility since 1984 and over 50 million turbochargers worldwide since their founding. IHI also specializes in twin screw superchargers for OE applications, and with the contract for the superchargers on the Dodge Hellcat and Demon models, they are no strangers to high performance and precision boosting.
IHI is the manufacturer of the turbocharger originally equipped on your engine. This turbo is a direct-fit replacement and offers functionally the same warranty and product that you would receive from a dealer, but is offered here at a significant savings over the dealer price.
